Short Description
«Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich» is a stand-alone add-on to Blitzkrieg 2 by Nival Interactive, which is dedicated to the latest great events at the Eastern Front — the war phase when Red Army was striving to get to Germany border, and Wehrmacht was trying to hold every plot of the occupied land. In two full-scale interrelated campaigns a player is given the opportunity to command the army on both sides, Germany and USSR — it gives deep understanding of the turning-point in World War II for both sides of the conflict. Game mechanics is significantly enhanced toward historical authenticity.
Game Features
- Two well-known historical battles in one chapter. Unlike the original game, not just the end, but also the beginning of every chapter depicts a great historical battle;
- Two campaigns — Germany and USSR combatants. The heads of both campaigns are related, that will bring you to realizing the conflict intensity at the final war stage;
- New maps for single and multiplayer modes. Apart from two campaigns the add-on will also provide 10 new maps for single player and 4 maps for multiplayer via Nival.net server
- New types of arms. In addition to the rich arsenal of the original game, «Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich» presents new models of weapons and equipment which fit the represented war period. They are German tank destroyers Marder III and Nashorn and Soviet tank T-44;
